This project is intended to reflect an at times implicit and at times explicit sonic experience. I’m finding this challenging. I ask myself, “Should I describe a musical interpretation of the subject or should I reflect the music of the subject?” In other words, is it about how I feel or is it about how I imagine the subjec to feel? These are often the musical questions composers confront with film.

One musical question I face: The role of piano and instruments. I just recently created one of my favorite tropes: gentle piano fragments. I just can’t decide. It sounds lovely but is it relevant? Could this instrument still be used to express either perspective I pose previously? There are many questions. I hope the outcome retains a sense of honesty.
